The President of the Puerto Rico Telecommunications Regulatory Board (PRTRB), Javier Rúa Jovet, Esq. has been selected, after a rigorous process, by the Nominations Committee of the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) to a global committee in charge of overseeing the interests and rights of Internet users. Rúa Jovet will represent the North American region, including Puerto Rico, estimated at 300 million people.
